ARTSCAM ANNEX I-X, New eBook

ARTSCAM ANNEX—yeah, yeah, it's like, uh, the Outsider Insider Zine, but not quite. It's... a parasite? A sidekick? Probably lives in your basement painting cursed murals on the drywall? ARTSCAM ANNEX is that energy.

It’s supposed to be an art supplement, Except it's also a comic book. Or a zine pretending to be a comic book. Or an art book with comics?

Definitions are for sellouts - and we aren't selling anything (other than industry-leading NFT's by #NFTraider, which are totally for sale).

This is where Tape Lab lets the weirdness spill over. Drawings, scribbles, stories, panels that may or may not connect—half coherent, half-deranged, half-stoned.

Is it high art? Is it trash? Does it even care? No. What it does care about is breaking your brain open like an egg so the yolk drips into the cracks and makes something interesting grow. It’s like the love child of Dada and the corner of the sketchbook you don’t show anyone.

In short: ARTSCAM ANNEX. For the Outsider Insider Zine, by the misfits at Tape Lab. You’re welcome. Or I’m sorry. Or both.

TapeLab

Welcome to #TapeLab—stay a while and listen. Founded in 2017 by lifelong friends, Tape Lab is a collective of artists and a hub for innovation, always open to collaboration. With the zeal of a self-published memoir, our sound is our own, but you can be the decider. We make music and art that sounds like it was fun to make and stands out in a sea of bland beats.

As independent artists, we are always exploring new ways to expand our audience and find new creative outlets—especially with other undiscovered artists!

#TapeLab is currently based out of two headquarters in Durham, NC, and The Hamptons, NY.
