Unreleased Dub Plates from Tape Lab
Lets get ready for some Dubplates. From what I understand, which is little, a dubplate is an unreleased song that is used for DJs to play before an official release. In that sense, these EPs are somewhat influenced.
The idea for a Dubplate Deli came from a pun with plate, but doesn't seem like its that cool now that I think about it. Don't think about it. LISTEN TO IT. These two are a little longer than usual but, don't act like you've got anything better to do. If you are reading this BLOG, you've got time to listen to the music.
Tape Lab has some other DUB PLATES, which are even MORE unreleased (i.e., private) and are now available to you on this blog post.
1A - Soft Lunch - a soft lunch launch for the new dubplate deli, open now
1B - Buyers Remorse - Buyers Remorse, why did I buy a dubstep themed deli? Do people love the concept?
The Voxillate EP is perhaps even more esoteric. A collection of beats from last year, never got around to finalizing them. Got some chiptune sounds too. CHIP PLATE was kinda whack of a name tho.
LOVE the chiptune and shoutout to Mac Tone, who influenced this one. Using the Moog Subsequent 37 to create chiptune music makes little sense, but we've done it!
Really it's two tracks and apparently both tracks are songs. People are saying that the number of songs is 2, which is controversal because other people count different numbers. Instead, we're going with the cannonical lore which states, explicitly, that there are two songs in this EP. Do you ever feel like there is just so much nonsense in the world?
I really hope that somebody from the UK can explain it to me better, until then I'll just keep using the word wrongly.
