Deep Dive: Wire USB Alone? (EP, 2019)

Wire USB Alone?
by Tape Lab

Now THAT is some hyper-cerebrial album naming! So many puns so much to think about. Y R U B? Tangled wires, cables and bad quality air anyway that influences the limbs and finger tips.

One of our oldest recordings. Originally released on February 8, 2019. It asks an important question about how our connections actually severe us from the world around. Are we more together because of technology? Tape Lab wonders.

Recorded the old way with a Yamaha PSR-750 x Korg Kaosillator. CD+ was in his bag with the chords, per usual. A little spacey and vibey here and there.

TapeLab

Welcome to #TapeLab—stay a while and listen. Founded in 2017 by lifelong friends, Tape Lab is a collective of artists and a hub for innovation, always open to collaboration. With the zeal of a self-published memoir, our sound is our own, but you can be the decider. We make music and art that sounds like it was fun to make and stands out in a sea of bland beats.

As independent artists, we are always exploring new ways to expand our audience and find new creative outlets—especially with other undiscovered artists!

#TapeLab is currently based out of two headquarters in Durham, NC, and The Hamptons, NY.
